Paul Brendan James - Co-Founder & Managing Director
Paul is an experienced technologist and strategist responsible for managing Hosted Continuity's professional team. Paul has initiated and overseen Hosted Continuity's expansion into the Melbourne and Perth markets and has been heavily involved in introducing the advisory services of Hosted Continuity's technical offering. Before joining Hosted Continuity, Paul worked in both technical and managerial positions in the financial services and information technology sectors. Having parlayed this experience into what is known today as Hosted Continuity, his group is delivering exceptional services and knowledge capital to a vast selection of industry.
Dr Chris O'Leary – Director Technical Services
An industry leader in the Information Technology sector, Dr O'Leary is a business and IT professional with significant experience in identifying opportunities and designing and delivering innovative solutions to address business problems. Dr O'Leary's expertise includes High Availability Disaster Recovery Solutions, IT Strategy, Enterprise IT Architecture, Enterprise systems and information integration, Business process design and re-engineering, Application design and development, E-Business & Web technologies, Program & Project Management and People Management.
David Furey – Chief Technology Officer
David is a solutions-focused ICT professional with over 20 years' experience providing ICT management and technical leadership
to a broad range of business and government operations. Skilled in driving and delivering improvements to deliver measurable, successful results that continuously improve the business operations David has strong analytical and solutions risk management skills that enable him to lead the Hosted Continuity proactive risk management approach from the front line.
Serkan Gunenc – Technical Services
Serkan started his career in the IT industry as an infrastructure engineer in 2001, implementing large scale infrastructure solutions across Australia and New Zealand. A strong interest in the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery saw Serkan move into systems engineering and later IT consultancy with an infrastructure focus. Serkan joined Hosted Continuity in 2008. Initially refining the technical processes around delivery of services and infrastructure, Serkan now focuses on driving our technical strategy and growth.
Ian Allsop - Service Delivery Manager
Ian manages the non-technical elements of Hosted Continuity and heads our Advisory Service. An Australian representative rower, Ian understands a high performance environment and the importance of preparation for success. Having moved into the professional services sector by joining one the world's leading human services organisations, he has 10 years' experience in helping organisations manage risk and supporting them through unexpected events. Ian joined Hosted Continuity in 2007.

The Economic Benefit of Cloud Computing
Cloud computing, as defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, is a model for enabling "… convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction."
